2025 was a roller coaster of a year—lots of speed, but not always the results we wanted.
It started with speed at Allentown and Atlantic City with the TQ, but broken parts at both races plagued us and kept us from qualifying for the A-main, despite being in qualifying spots in many of the races. The modified saw unfortunate engine issues to start the season, but with the perseverance of my dad, we were able to get laps and seat time in the second part of the season.
2025 also marked big personal milestones for me.
I got a new job selling tungsten and heavy alloy metals with Plansee, I got married, and welcomed my daughter and first child to the world—Lennox Briar Robbie.
The end of December is always an exciting time. You have the holidays with Christmas and New Year’s. You’re in the middle of rebuild season for the modified and preparing for the next year of racing, and it marks the start of INDOOR SEASON!
This year, I will be piloting the 34.5 TQ midget for Nick Giordano again. Each year, we continue to gain speed, gain knowledge, and compete. We have the same goals this year as last year—qualify for each A-main and then see what we can do in the A-main.
Last year, we showed A-main speed, but two heat race wrecks put us behind for the consi, and we just ran out of time to get to a qualifying spot.
This year, I will focus on time trialing to help get us in a better spot going into the heat race. Two years ago, Allentown saw my first A-main, and I am hungry for more. I know Nick, Mark, and Timmy have the car ready… I just have to compete and make it happen!
