Bellingham, MA June 28, 2023 – DDR Motorsports, a Massachusetts based motorsports team, is excited to announce its partnership with Fubar Studios for the highly anticipated program, “Track Day for Veterans.” This program, which proved immensely successful in 2016, aims to provide an extraordinary experience to deserving veterans and their companions.
“Track Day for Veterans” offers a unique opportunity for veterans and their companions to spend an unforgettable day in the pits with tour-type modified driver Derek Robbie and the DDR Motorsports team. Participants will have the exclusive privilege of being up close to the roaring engines, standing side by side with the dedicated crew, and gaining unprecedented access to the inner workings of a professional racing team.
During this immersive experience, the veterans and their companions will receive a commemorative T-shirt and have the chance to listen in on the team’s communications, witnessing the high-stakes strategies and tactics employed during a race day. They will be able to truly understand the dedication, teamwork, and precision required to achieve success in the world of motorsports.
DDR Motorsports would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Fubar Studios for partnering with them to make this program possible. “We are grateful to be able to partner with Derek and DDR Motorsports to give Veteran this exciting opportunity after they have given so much for us,” says Doug Macedo, the visionary behind Fubar Studios.
“Derek Robbie and the entire DDR Motorsports team are thrilled to be reviving the ‘Track Day for Veterans’ program,” said DDR owner Doug Robbie. “Our team believes in honoring and supporting our veterans who have selflessly served our country. This program is our way of expressing our gratitude and giving them an unforgettable experience, even if just for a day.”
The program will run throughout the year at select Modified events at tracks around New England.
DDR Motorsports would like to extend its thanks for the support they receive from their sponsors that allow them to create a program like this. Thanks to NHOU Protective Coating, RoadActive Suspensions and Ro-Day Industries.
