2020 Schedule
With the 2020 season quickly approaching, DRR Motorsports continues to pull together its schedule for race season.
The team will open up the season at the largest track the team runs on, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, by participating in the inaugural Northeast Classic on April 17 & 18. After two consecutive top-ten finishes in the team’s past two appearances in the Short Track Showdown, it was a no brainer to run the event. Opening the 2020 race season at a track the team and driver, Derek, Robbie, has had some success at, the team looks for a positive start.
The team will then turn its focus to some of the shortest tracks it runs, but committing to the Tri-Track Modified Racing Series for its entire schedule. Having experienced the low of not qualifying to the thrill of winning a qualifying heat in 2019, the team has decided the level of competition in the series suits their desire to step up their game. The six-race series visits Claremont Speedway in Claremont, NH; Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, NH; Star Speedway in Epping, NH; and Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Ma. Spread out over the course of 5 months; the series gives the team the proper time to prepare for each race.
The final confirmed race for DDR Motorsports is the August 29th Bill Slater-Eddie Flemke Tribute race at The New London-Waterford Speedbowl. Promoted by Jim Williams, the one of the founders of the Tri_Track Series and a big fan of Our driver Derek, Robbie, the team is looking forward to returning to the fast 1/3 mile race track for this first-time event. The Speedbowl is also one of Derek’s favorite places to race.
With the above eight races locked into our schedule, the team is looking for further assistance to expand its schedule to a few more races in 2020. To do so will require the addition of supplemental marketing partners. The team can offer custom marketing packages to a business. These packages allow you to get the exposure to a captive audience with extreme loyalty. To find out more information, email doug@ddr-motorsports.com or call team owner, Doug Robbie at 508-966-7044.
